I've definitely stayed in worse hostels, and this one was technically pretty nice. However, it was also like 5-7 times more expensive than any hostel I've stayed in, so that must also be taken into consideration. Things were decently clean and facilities were nice. Free WiFi and breakfast were a nice touch, but not a great night's sleep because of rude bunkmates. In the end, it's a hostel and a pretty good one: the lower star rating is mostly based on value for the money.

I loved every thing about this hostel. The room was very spacious, very clean bathroom, very nice environment, TV room, kitchen, dining area and lobby. I absolutely loved the library. It was super quiet and allowed me to work. Also free cookies in the lobby.

Beautiful hotel in great location! Love the availability of queen size beds, which are hard to find in Boston. Have stayed several times and never disappointed. One time our room smelled of cigarettes when we checked in and I called the front desk who immediately gave us another room. Staff are always friendly and helpful! Can’t beat the location!

★★★★★
Pet friendly hotel at no extra fee. Very nice inside and has a Starbucks attached. Reasonable price for a centrally located hotel. We were downgraded from our room to a very small room with a king bed. This had to be the smallest hotel room I've ever been in, even smaller than cheap motel rooms. But the hotel made it right by taking care of our dinners for the two nights we stayed at the lobby restaurant, which was excellent. Make sure you negotiate when you get downgraded. They started with a very bad offer but ended up redeeming themselves. Five stars for that! Also, no fridge or microwave in the room. We did ask for a microwave and they brought one to us at no extra charge.

Hotel rooms have many charging stations, making the rooms convient for guests with multiple devices. Rooms are clean and orderly, with very helpful staff. The reason I am rating the hotel 4 stars instead of 5 is for a evacuation alarm for a fire that went off during our stay. The alarm itself was no fault of the hotel, better safe than sorry, but the alarm notifying our floor of evacuation occurred just after the fire department cleared the building as safe. They were fairly prompt in their announcement that it was safe to return to the room, however they were not prompt enough to prevent many guests panic. Overall, wonderful stay in a fantastic location, would have given 5 stars if there had been no potential fire with evacuation.

There is a noticeable labor shortage here. When I checked in about 8pm, there was only one person working the front desk - despite the fact that the queue extended across the lobby and to the door! To add insult to injury, I had tried to get an electronic key via their app, but was told that I had to "drop by" the front desk. With the line that had formed, there was no "drop by" option. When I did get to the desk, I commented about the long wait and lack of staffing, only to be told, "yeah, I know." No offer to let a manager know, no apology, no nothing. Fast forward to dinner at the one dinner restaurant in the hotel. There was (surprise!) a line because they had only one person seating parties. Service once seated was good, but not noteworthy. Prices for menu items were high, as expected in an airport hotel (double whammy there). I can get a good steak close to home for what they charged for a grilled cheese sandwich. It did have 3 cheeses, bacon, and tomato, but it was still a grilled cheese. Room was decent, bed was comfortable, but there were urine stains (I assume the previous guest) the rim of the toilet. Called down and got that taken care of, but again - no apology. The next day, I arranged for a late checkout. After a working breakfast, I went up to finish packing. What I found was a housekeeping cart in the room (not the hallway, but actually in the room), my personal effects piled on the dresser, a huge bag of trash on the floor, and that I can only assume we're the house keeper's perfume and bag on the desk. Housekeeper was not there, so I found another one in another room and she came to move everything. They probably assumed I had checked out and left things, or didn't get the message about late checkout, and I did get an apology from the housekeeper I chased down, but it was another hiccup in the day. All told, I avoid staying at this hotel unless there aren't any other options nearby. That was the case this time. Your mileage may vary, but I was not impressed and will hope that my experience was not the norm.

Ideal location for travellers as the property has walk through terminal passage from the hotel. The hotel has sound proof rooms which is essential in alleviating noise from the busy streets/highways and jet blasts nearby.  The rooms are one of the quietest I have ever encountered. Inside the room however, needs updated decor and furnishings. USB plugs and wall outlets are industry standard are needed. Breakfast items at the restaurant needs expansion.

I was just dropping off family at the airport and not everyone was leaving at the same time. With the remaining time I decided to get dinner close to the airport. It was an incredibly amazing looking place that was easy to get to. Parking was free as long as we were under 2 hours so we only had to pay for dinner!

This hotel is beautiful from the lobby to the rooms to the cute little cafe! I was in town for a video game convention and they seemed to not react to a whole bunch of people who were not their normal clientele roaming around and asking questions. It was a very short walk to the convention center which was really nice. Parking was a very reasonable rate, which is hard to find in Boston. Also, it is right across the street from a 7-11 if you need anything that you forgot. If you stay here, you are in walking distance of many delicious restaurants. I told the person who usually books hotels for my group that he needs to try to get this hotel again next year. The bed was really comfy, the shower was large and had dispensers on the wall for the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and they even provided 2 free bottles of water. I have no complaints at all about my stay.

This is a great hotel.  From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed.  My kids got to visit the treasure box, they offer a scavenger hunt for the kids too.  The beds were comfortable and the water pressure and temperature were great.  Concierge was very helpful too.

The hotel isn't super fancy by any means.  The design still elegant, however.  What really impressed me were the small touches & attention to detail in the design.   Spacious restroom,  classic room with modernized specs & by far the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at a hotel.   The customer service is exceptional on all fronts here too.

Always happy in a Marriott. This was our first hotel we took our infant and they were so accommodating. The rooms are well sound-proofed as well. Everyone was kind and helpful and... of course, everything was cozy. They offered us a crib as well, but we already had our own pack-n-play.

Class place to stay while you are in Boston. Right in the middle of everything you want to do in Boston. Walking distance to Fanuel Hall and all it has to offer. Italian section steps away, great food & atmosphere.  Breakfast was great, staff professional & attentive just like you expect from a Marriott. Wouldn't stay any where else when I go to Boston.

Met some friends and grabbed some Starbucks. Hotel looks very nice overall. They got rid of the seating area in the lobby which is very inconvenient. I think it would be best if they brought back some type of seating downstairs. Also maybe add a charging station. Seems like a very good idea. Thanks! Oh and the bathrooms were very clean BUT they no longer have paper towel dispensers and that irked me. How do you have tissues but no paper towels? Not a fan. Not a fan at all. Overall I like the hotel. Maybe I'll stay a night or two in the future. Either way I'm going to continue using the bathrooms because they have very nice music and that extra soft toilet paper. Thanks!

First time in Boston. This was a super clean hotel with the nicest staff. The hotel is pretty big and it's impressive how clean it is everywhere. If I make my way back to Boston I'll def be staying here. The prices are very reasonable and I felt like first class! Pictures are from the city view room option.

The Westin Boston Waterfront exceeded my expectations. Earlier in the week I notified them we would be arriving early and they allowed us to check in early at no extra cost. The hotel was super clean and the staff were professional and friendly. Was surprised by the number of excellent places to eat located in the hotel and so close to it. I will be coming to Boston again and will make reservations with the Westin again.

Really nice hotel. Extremely clean, fast and personalized service, new and modern finishes, comfortable bed. Answered the phone by greeting me personally when I ordered room service, and they were extremely accommodating. It's also located in the heart of Boston and very convenient for my business trip. Would highly recommend this place.

The Bostonian Boston is in great location, right next to Fanueil Hall on the Freedom Trail and Quincy Market (which is full of shops and food). Compared to other hotels in this area, the price is fairly reasonable. The areas for improvement include towels and toiletries, towels seem a little older and are thin, body wash is a bit drying. That said, there's not much else to complain about! The restaurant attached to the hotel is very good and is open later than many places nearby (the city seems to shut down around 9pm). For our experience in particular, we needed to move rooms due to some maintenance on the A/C system which cost us a bit of time our first night. The maintenance tech was very nice though... The coupled with a lack of additional amenities (such as a poll) is what leads to the rating. Should we need to stay in Boston again, this hotel will remain at the top of my list.

★★★

The staff at this hotel, for the most part, was courteous and helpful. The room itself was what brought the rating down for me. We were put into a room that our only view out our window was the wall from another building. Very little sunlight was let in during the day so our room was on a constant Darkness. The real issue came at night when loud, thumping, obnoxious music from the building next door played for hours into the early morning.  We got very little sleep and I still had an 8-hour drive in front of me the next day, and I was exhausted and unhappy.  When I told the staff at the front desk, they simply said it was from the bar next door and they couldn't do anything about it. But they could have offered us a different room that was not butted up next to a loud bar. The hotel is very conveniently located in the midst of so much stuff to do.  Sad that we had to have negative experiences at such a nice hotel.

Spent four days here while attending a conference in Boston.  Extremely accommodating, gorgeous rooms with comfortable beds, room safes, mini bar and some rooms with fire places and Balconies.  Room service we had one-day for breakfast 🍳 and it was very good.  If you see my pictures that I have posted, these are from our outdoor balcony looking over the market.  Great views and great to relax with some wine and check out the Boston Skyline 🌃.  Slightly on the more expensive side but not overly for the service, quality and central location brought to the table.
Parking is a bit ridiculous with fifty dollars a day to park your car.  But as I know Manhattan is just as bad.  If you’re going to stay in a big city expect it.  I give this Hotel 5 stars and plain on a return.
